ust as the great outdoors get colder and colder, your friends at Coach House Sounds bring you a session from last summer that's guaranteed to heat things up with local rockers Village. As far as what we get up to goes, Doug likes to say "ride the chaos" and this session had the chaos more than covered. Matt was recovering from a biking injury, and there was oppressive July heat and broken strings to endure. But through it all, the Chicago power pop practitioners brought the rock with plenty of licks to spare and took everything in stride. These guys can perk up any room with their energy and positivity. It's upfront rock that's too much for six little strings, and that's just how we like it.
