n January 2010, You, Me, Them, Everybody's Brandon Wetherbee asked me who my top three CHS wish list bands were. Joan of Arc was on that list. I had intentionally waited awhile before emailing Tim about bringing his crew over to record with us. I wanted to wait until we were “established” enough so that he’d definitely say yes. As time went on, and that "established" feeling never came, I decided that instead of waiting for something that would probably never arrive, I’d take a shot at one of my all-time favorite bands… To my surprise, Tim enthusiastically answered my email, and within a few minutes and a couple more emails back and forth, we set a date. The booking process went so smoothly that I was bummed I had waited so long to reach out… That was, of course, until the band gladly played the epic eleven-minute leadoff track from their forthcoming Life Like LP after I had spontaneously requested it midway through their session.
